RTX is in its 11th year of offering technical placement services to the engineering community.

The company was started in Littleton, Colorado to provide statewide technical placement and was purchased in 1998 by VECO Corporation of Anchorage, Alaska. Subsequently, the focus was expanded to service the needs of VECO's worldwide full-service engineering, procurement and construction operations.

In 2003, RTX moved from Littleton to Centennial, Colorado, expanding both its staff and its facilities.

In September 2007, VECO was acquired by CH2M HILL. With the addition of VECO and it's subsidiaries, CH2M HILL has grown to more than 23,000 professionals in 31 countries.
